Summary: ClipFarmer is a single-user personal automation tool. It accesses Ken's connected creator accounts to publish content and may analyze limited public Instagram post metadata for format research. It does not access private third-party data or sell or share personal data.

1. Who we are

ClipFarmer is a personal automated content publishing pipeline developed and operated exclusively by:

2. What ClipFarmer does

ClipFarmer is a locally-run automation tool that:

Downloads royalty-free audio and video assets
Renders short-form vertical video clips using ffmpeg
Publishes the clips to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels on a scheduled basis
Retrieves basic post-performance analytics (views, likes) for internal optimisation

This application is not a service offered to third parties. It is a personal tool used solely by its developer.

3. Data collected through TikTok API

ClipFarmer uses the TikTok Content Posting API. The following data is accessed:

Creator profile information (username, display name, avatar) — used only to confirm that the correct TikTok account is authorised before publishing
Video publication capability — used to upload and post video clips on behalf of the authorised account
Post status and performance metrics (views, likes, shares) — used locally to rank content hooks by performance

All data retrieved through the TikTok API is processed locally on the developer's machine. No data is transmitted to any external server controlled by ClipFarmer.

4. Public Instagram content used for research

ClipFarmer may use Instagram's Hashtag Search endpoints to identify current public short-form video formats. For public posts returned by those endpoints, ClipFarmer may temporarily store:

The post permalink and public media identifier
The public creator username
A short caption excerpt and publication timestamp
Public like and comment counts used as a discovery signal

This information is stored locally for content-format research. Discovery does not grant permission to republish a creator's video. ClipFarmer does not download or publish a third-party Reel unless there is separate permission, a verified reusable licence, or a documented rights review. Creator credit does not replace permission.

5. Data we do NOT collect

We do not collect data from any TikTok user other than the authorised creator account
We do not read or store Instagram direct messages, private accounts, follower lists, or non-public profile information
We do not use public Instagram discovery data for identity profiling, advertising, or data brokerage
We do not run a database of user accounts
We do not use cookies or tracking technologies on this website
We do not share any data with advertisers or data brokers

6. How data is stored

Data retrieved from connected platform APIs is stored locally on the developer's Windows machine at C:\clipfarmer\ in local JSON and log files. Reviewed videos may be placed temporarily in private object storage behind a short-lived signed URL so Meta can process a Reel; the temporary object is deleted after the attempt. Discovery metadata is:

Not uploaded to a ClipFarmer-controlled cloud database
Not shared with third parties
Retained only for as long as operationally necessary

7. Access tokens

TikTok and Meta access tokens are stored locally in config.json on the developer's machine. These tokens are never included in discovery manifests or intentionally printed or logged, and are transmitted only to the corresponding official platform API.

8. Third-party services

ClipFarmer interacts with the following third-party APIs:

TikTok — Content Posting API (TikTok Privacy Policy)
YouTube / Google — YouTube Data API v3 (Google Privacy Policy)
Meta / Instagram — Graph API (Meta Privacy Policy)
Gumroad — used for product sales; governed by Gumroad's Privacy Policy

9. Data deletion

Public Instagram discovery records can be deleted from ClipFarmer's local candidate manifest. A creator may identify the relevant public permalink or username when requesting deletion.

10. Children's privacy

ClipFarmer does not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 13. This tool is operated by a single adult developer and is not accessible to the public.

11. Changes to this policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the new version will be published at this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use of connected platform APIs under this application constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
